Our flagship Shiraz, rated 95 points, is a classic example of Adrian Munari’s elegant and structural style of winemaking. The Ladys Pass is a beautifully aromatic wine with layers of blackberry, blackcurrent, cooked plums and warm wood. The fruit is supported with a subtle and well integrated use of oak which rounds out the mouthfeel and increases the aromatics of the wine. This is a full bodied Shiraz due to hot vintage conditions, with delicate red and dark fruit on the palate and trademark black olive and spice on the palate with just a nuance of port jelly.

”This is the other side of Heathcote shiraz, the finer side, the perfumed, velvety textured side that comes fully formed upon release. Intense dark colour. Ripe fruits gather on the bouquet: black cherry and plum with an equally dark collection of anise and nutmeg spices.
